Whether staying here in Winter or Summer, the assumption by the developer is clear - give them a HUGE TV so they don't wreck the lounge room.
AND they wont miss hanging space in their bedroom as long as they have a TV there! Wrong!!!!!!
American/Canadian TV is 20 channels of crap so please give me somewhere to put my clothes for a week apart from my suitcase (they do have some hanging space in the steamy bathroom?) and I will su
rvive with one small tele.
And decent wifi.
In short, if you plan to holiday here, my advice is to go with a travel agent you trust (our accommodation in Revelstoke was lovely Louise) or trust to luck when you are here. You'll do better than us.

What a bummer about the accommodation. I think you're wise to cut your losses and head back to Banff. Or maybe a tent at the foot of one of those fabulous mountains?
