Picton to Wellington

Sailing serenely (so far!) past a home nestled by the waters edge, here on Queen Charlotte Sound (hereafter, qcs). Looks ideal.
Blue skies, warm temperatures and calm seas promise a delightful crossing of Cooks Strait. Internet is dodgy but I have been busy snapping pictures with my phone and eating and drinking here in Kaitani Plus, the premium lounge on the ferry. "Free" food and drink!

Picton Ferry Terminal

I am also enjoying the view. Annoying sky sports in the background. Who cares about twenty/20 cricket or Murdochs rugby comp with team names no one knows. Bulls? Chiefs?

Impatient to upload some photos I took. Some nice ones in there.

All my own work - sorry!

Last night in Wellington

Coming to the end of a wonderful wedding holiday. Some of the wedding photos have appeared and are wonderful.

I wrote a typically witty entry yesterday with 15 fantastic fotos telling the story of our botanic stroll but blogpress failed me yet again. Am thinking of forming my own FAIL page for it.

We rose late to find the seas whipped up by a strong breeze so we decided to leave the ferry to ????? Island and ????? Side until another visit.

The same for the train trip to ??????
We quite enjoyed Te Papa although in typical modern museum style it has few exhibits in a large space. Tess quite liked it but give me density. What's wrong with butterflies???

Our flight leaves at 3.30pm tomorrow so we'll be home in time for peak hour:-(((
I'll be back:-)))

Ariverderci!???
