I'm yet to see the new Hobbit but at least I'm in the same country!
I went out for a ride along the lake this morning, not quite to Queenstown (tomorrow perhaps) but far enough to test my leg and bike quality. Good overall and the path generally smooth, flat and uncrowded.
I stopped a passing runner to take a photo as evidence!
Some of the new developments are nicer than others.
The clouds have arrived so the pathetic 3GS camera struggled to capture the autumn colour or the water but it was all I carried.
This is another shot of The Remarkables Primary School. Without kids. What a view and they are right under the flightpath. What excitement!
