Exhibition Ends

We brought home the 55 drawings (otherwise known by Tess as her family) from the Braemar Gallery on Sunday to mark the end of a successful show. The Gallery seemed busy on all three weekends, and not just with the many friends and family who managed a visit. Tess was kept talking and socialising - unusual for her and probably very therapeutic.

We both enjoyed the experience although I realise I had the preferred role of husband of famous artist, which involved no pressure or worry about what people thought of my art. Apparently Tess had the odd concern.

Pat and Nev paid a visit.

Tess even managed to sell half a dozen paintings, although I think we are still waiting for the first sale to a total stranger. We hold out hope for the billionaire friend of one visitor who enjoyed the show.

So did Kate and Pete.

The staff at the Braemar were wonderful and I will make sure I take a few photos of them next time. Tess is keen to put on another show next year, probably at the same gallery.

Final weekend family visitors from the 'Gong.

Farewell the bustling world of the Art Exhibition!
